I am a Christ-following wife of over 20 years, a mother to both humans and animals, who enjoys skiing, horseback riding and outdoor adventures.
My journey began with significant challenges at an early age; I chose to leave home at 16 due to drug and alcohol addiction but found sobriety at 22. Through this incredible, decades-long journey, I have discovered profound truths about life, healthy coping mechanisms, careers, relationships, and—most of all—God's amazing grace.
After a 20-year career in sales, a series of life events prompted a pivotal decision: to professionally dedicate my life to leading others on their own paths of self-discovery.
Inspired by Colossians 3:23 Metalmark Pathways was created in 2020 to help people experience the blessings and fulfillment God has intended
for them.

Therapeutic Horsemanship
W.O.R.T.H. (Women of Recovery Therapeutic Horsemanship) offers a unique setting where women cultivate faith and spiritual growth through powerful interactions with horses. Our program focuses on building core values like trust and integrity within the context of recovery and relationships.
Our goal is to inspire participants to recognize these essential values in their own lives and use them to connect, or reconnect, with God, leading to a renewed sense of purpose.
We facilitate impactful horse and human experiences by leveraging over 20 years of natural horsemanship expertise at Victory's Gait @ Sweet Dreams Farm Inc., combined with the facilitator's 30 years of dedicated experience in women's recovery.

My struggles with life like most people began at adolescence. Natural teenage angst coupled with some family disfunction with a history of alcoholism and the discovery of intoxicates was formula for things to begin to go sideways my senior year in high school. This lead to a progression into drug addiction and alcoholism. After getting clean and sober in 1989, life began to have much more meaning with the opportunity to help others find recovery. I have been self employed most of my sober life, working in recreational sports. In 2014 I founded The Prevention Offensive in order to help young people make better choices regarding drugs and alcohol than I did. I am blessed by the Grace of God and love my amazing family that is only possible because of God doing for me what I could not do for myself.
